EPISODE 1: UP IN THE AIR

Coffee Conversations joined the mile high club...well sort of! It was the first time filming in the air, so the airplane lighting might not be the best. And the sound is a little tough to work with, but we made it work!

When I found out about the opportunity in Costa Rica, it was like my sunny season was coming…

EPISODE 2: SHARED EXPERIENCES AND WHY WE NEED THEM

Grabbing coffee is a must when I'm meeting up with friends; in fact it is pretty much a given. Luckily I have friends who allow me to film and interview them! Hannah is a charismatic, goal setting, adventure minded soul sister of mine from university.

EPISODE 3: STARBUCKS INSIDER TIP

Ellen is one of the first baristas to play a role in my daily life. When I moved to Iowa my junior year of high-school, she always worked the morning shift with a smile, and was ready with my daily dose of black coffee.

EPISODE 4: CATCHING UP WITH HARRY IN COSTA RICA

After a few weeks away from the Osa Peninsula, I met up with one of my favorite volunteers, to grab a coffee in Monteverde and catch up. In case you were wondering how many coffees we drank before filming this episode, we drank 5 cups combined in a matter of an hour...enjoy the caffeinated coffee conversation at hand!

Harry and I with some of the best volunteers in Costa Rica this past July. Living in the jungle and being a part of a conservation team was always a fun adventure.

EPISODE 5: SAN JOSÉ TAXI CAB CONVERSATION

One of my favorite components of traveling is the different transportation needed to travel to the next destination. I've sat in the back of a chicken bus holding a stranger's child, on a jungle colectivo to bring back resupply to our camp, and in hundreds of taxis around the globe.

EPISODE 6: NYC LIVING AND LEARNING WITH LENA

A trip to NYC to visit friends means plenty of shared coffee conversations around Brooklyn and Manhattan. Lena Placzek, a close friend, former Division 1 teammate of mine, and now a personal trainer working exclusively in Manhattan, shares her experience living in the city.
